Namibia: Continental Football Winks At League Champs

Windhoek — Local football clubs could soon return to continental football if assurances by the chairman of the Namibia Premier League (NPL) Johnny Doeseb are to be taken seriously.

The NPL strongman announced that the league has resolved to put aside a special incentive that would oblige the league champions to participate in the annual Confederation of African Football (CAF) Club Champions League. Doeseb made the announcement during a media briefing in Windhoek last week.
