Tunis — The Training Institute of the Tunis Stock Exchange (IFBT), the Association of Brokers' (AIB) training centre, has been accredited by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI)-London as a training and examination centre for International Certification of Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ), IFBT announced in a statement published Wednesday in Tunis.
IFQ is the first certification in Islamic funding recognised worldwide and largely considered as the passport to be able to enter this booming market (more than 1,800 candidates registered in the examination since its launching in 2007).
A first cycle training preparing this certification will be launched by IFBT, in march 2013 and will be supervised by international experts belonging to the Simply Sharia Human Capital (SSHC) network in London.
The programme is elaborated by CISI and the Higher Business School (ESA)-Lebanon in line with the Charia and under the supervision of the Islamic Council for Islamic Finance (ACIF).
It covers all aspects of Islamic finance, fundamental notions as well as most technical details.
