Nigeria: Goje Loses Bid to Transfer Trial Venue

Gombe — Former Gombe state governor, Alhaji Muhammad Danjuma Goje, who is standing trial for fraud in a Federal High court sitting in Gombe has failed to secure a transfer of his case to a avenue outside the north east zone with preference to Abuja.

Ruling on the motion for the transfer of the case, Justice Babatunde Qadiri said there has been no threat to life of any party in the matter saying there is no point transferring the case out of Gombe.
