Tanzania: DGC Captain Tumbles in Snooker

THE Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club (DGC) Competition Secretary, Nikhil Sangani put up an outstanding performance to win his first match of the Cargo Stars Dar Open Snooker tournament at the club on Tuesday evening.

Sangani, who had a first-round bye, booked his place into the third round of the tournament with an impressive 2-1 victory over his Captain Firoz Yusufali in a seesaw second round match. Yusufali started strongly to lead by 16-3, 30-13 and 35-25 points, but he faded as time went by only to allow Sangani to take control of the game in which he took a 35-36 lead.
