Nigeria: How Adetiloye Changed Anglican Church Image of Anglican Church - Clergy

The memories of late Reverend Joseph Adetiloye, the former Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, was brought to the fore yesterday at the press conference held at the Cathedral Church of Christ to herald his funeral ceremony scheduled for next week in Ekiti State.

Speaking on the burial arrangement, the Archbishop of the province of Lagos, Reverend Adebayo Akinde disclosed that commendation service has been scheduledfor Wednesday next week as part of line-up of programmes at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina where he served as both Bishop of Lagos and Archbishop, Primate and Metropolitan of All Nigeria.

Another commendation service will be followed on Thursday at the Cathedral Church of Emmanuel, Ado-Ekiti as well as a tributes session to be organised by the Ekiti State Government at Adetiloye's House, Ado-Ekiti, the same day.
