Angola: Government Spends 600 Million Kwanzas to Stop Ravines in Kuito

Kuito — The government of the central province of Bie will spend AKz 600 million on the conclusion works to combat the ravines in Catraion and Chissindo neighbourhoods, in the outskirts of the province's capital, Kuito.

The information was released Thursday in Kuito by the Director of Public Works and Urbanisation, José Fernando Tchatuvela, stressing that the first phase began in 2012.

José Tchatuvela who put the initial budget at 900 million Kwanzas, assured that the referred amount would be used to stop ravines in the districts of Kuito.

He mentioned the localities of Cantíflas, Cangangaue, Câmara, Chissndo, Ilha, Popular, São José, among others.
