Angola: Government to Build 59 Schools in 2013

Ondjiva — The Government of the southern Cunene Province plans to build during the year 2013, 59 schools in six districts, in order to decrease the number of children out of the normal education system.

This was revealed on Wednesday to Angop by the Director of Education in Cunene, Lucio Ndinoiti, stating that the construction of the projects starts this year to expand the school network.

"The construction of these infrastructures, comprising between eight to 12 classrooms, is part of the Public Investment Programme (PIP 2013), aimed at strengthening improvement, increased supply and services to the population," he said.
