Sierra Leone: More Ministers Subscribe to the Oath of Appointment

Another set of newly approved ministers and deputy ministers have subscribed to the oath of office administered in the Credentials Hall, State House, Freetown.

Delivering the keynote address shortly after administering the oath to the new ministers, His Excellency Dr Ernest Bai Koroma called on the ministers to step up to the plate by performing to the expectations of the people of Sierra Leone.

He noted that upon signing of the oath of appointment the new ministers and their deputies are expected to sign their performance contracts, which means that they have started their engagement with the "Agenda for Prosperity".

He congratulated them for successfully going through the appointments committee in parliament.

By way of closing remarks, the newly reappointed minister of defence Major Paolo Conteh, profusely thanked President Koroma for giving them the opportunity to serve, adding that the trust placed in them will not be misplaced.
