Angola: 139 Carnival Groups Enlisted in Huila Province

Lubango — At least 139 groups in both categories are enlisted to participate in the edition 2013 of the carnival in Southern Huila Province, whose central act is set for February 12, in Lubango city, Angop has learnt.

The head of cultural department, Pedro Mussunda, said 69 groups are infantile ones and the rest of adults.

The local authorities have made available over five million Kwanzas for the holding of the carnival for acquisition of prizes costumes.
