Angola: National Film-Maker's Work at Sweden Festival

Stockolm — The film O Grande Kilapeiro by the Angolan director Zeze Gamboa is to debut on Saturday at the 34th edition of the International cinema festival of Gotemburg (Sweden), between January 25 and February 04, Angop has learnt.

The film portraits the history of the Angolan Joãozinho das Garotas, that left his mother land and its political problems, in favour to his enjoying life in Lisbon (Portugal), before Angola's independence, on November 11, 1975.

Grande Kilapeiro is a joint production of Angola, Brazil and Portugal and last an hour and 41 minutes.

During the festival there will be displayed about 500 films from over 84 countries.
