Luanda — The Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, last Thursday here updated the ad-hoc commission tasked with studying and monitoring the application of the commercialisation rules of houses in new urbanisation projects.
According to a press note from the president's Civil Office, the commission has to study and propose to the Head of State the legal and operational framework for access to real estate projects in the ambit of the Executive's housing programme.
According to the note, the commission is to be co-ordinated by the Urbanisation and Housing minister, comprising also representatives of the Finance Ministry, Housing Boost Fund, state-owned Sonangol oil company's real estate firm (Sonip) and the president's office of cadres.
The co-ordinator of the commission must submit to the Head of State the report of activities carried out by the previous commission, as well as the chronogram of the execution of the current diploma.
The note also explains that in 90 days the commission must conclude the works and submit the final report to the Head of State.
