Angola: Minister Confident About Expansion of Hotels Network

Huambo — The minister of Hotels and Tourism, Pedro Mutindi, manifested Thursday in Huambo Province confident about the expansion of hotels network within the country and in the development of tourism, taking into account the process of national reconstruction.

Speaking to ANGOP, moments after inaugurating Ekuikui I hotel, the minister justified his prognosis with the fact that train service is operational in the country, as well as he modernization of airports and roads in every province of the country, factors that boost the growth of hotels and tourism network.

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, according to the incumbent minister, will continue to work to improve housing conditions in the hotels industry of Angola and materialize the actions listed in the development programme of this sector, also known as peace industry.

The minister informed that another priority of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism relates to the completion of construction of tourism training schools in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Huila and Cabinda.
