Security forces on Friday tightened measures around the Ministry of Interior, the cabinet headquarters, and the parliament in anticipation of developments during the demonstrations to commemorate the second anniversary of the January 25 uprising.

More than 50 central security forces vehicles and 12 armoured vehicles have been deployed around the Ministry of Interior, the cabinet, and the parliament, the Middle East News Agecy (MENA) reported.

Barbed wire has been placed on the streets surrounding these buildings to seal them immediately in case of attempts to vandalise them.
