Egypt: Morsi Greets Arab, Islamic States' Leaders On Prophet Muhammad Birthday Anniversary

President Mohamed Morsi Thursday exchanged cables of greetings with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's birthday anniversary.

Morsi voiced his heartfelt greetings to the leaders, wishing prosperity and blessings for all Arab and Islamic peoples.

The president also extended greetings to all Egyptian Muslim expatriates, wishing them success.

The birth of Prophet Muhammad was on Rabi' al-Awwal 12, the third month on the Islamic calendar. Muslims around the globe celebrate this day annually.
