Egypt: PM - Ongoing Negotiations With IMF to Be Finalized Soon

On the sidelines of the Davos international economic forum, Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Qandeel, in an interview with the CNN news agency, said he believes that the ongoing negotiations on the IMF loan to Egypt will be finalized soon.

Qandeel pointed out that the matter may not take more than two weeks to agree on the date of the arrival of the IMF's mission to Egypt.

Qandeel said that he met with Head of the IMF Christine Lagarde, noting that IMF's mission will visit Egypt soon to finalize the deal.
