Ghana: Odoi-Larbi Wins Top Parliamentary Award

One of the finest reporters at the Ghanaian Chronicle, Stephen Odoi-Larbi, who is also a parliamentary correspondent of the paper, has been adjudged as the Most Disciplined Reporter in Parliament.

The award, together with other categories, was presented to the beneficiaries on Friday at the forecourt of Parliament House, when members of the Parliamentary press corps held a get together to complement their hardwork for last year.

Other award winners were Emmanuel Akorli of Peace FM, overall best Parliamentary reporter, Nana Berinkorang of Ghanaian Observer, Punctual reporter, Prince Joe Boadu of Angel FM, most Hardworking Parliamentary Reporter and Kwaku Sakyi Danso of Choice FM, well dressed (male) Parliamentary reporter.

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Barton Odro urged members of the press corps to be circumspect in their reportage as he assures them of the House's support.

Hon. Odro, who is also the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North, hinted that the august House has made plans to improve on the lots of the members which would be made known to them soon.
