Kenya: Fire Razes Equity Manager's Home

Fire gutted down a bank manager's house at EPZ, Athi River on Wednesday morning.

The fire which started at around 9:00 a.m brought down the house belonging to Nicholas Shukuru of Equity Bank, Kitengela. Shukuru and his family were not home when the incident occurred but a house honce investigations are complete.elp was rushed to hospital after smoke inhalation.

Sources say property worth approximately Sh10million was lost in the inferno which is speculated to have been caused by an electric fault. However, firefighter Bilha Wambui said this can only be verified.
