Kenya: What Is Your Degree In? Joho Asked

Mombasa governor candidate Hassan Joho was yesterday challenged over his academic qualifications. Residents calling during a late night talk show on Radio Salaam blasted him for not stating what degree he holds.

They are not the only one to do this, his political rivals including outgoing Mvita MP Najib Balala have insisted that candidates vying for governor or senator should publicise their qualifications.

Joho has so far not responded directly to any of these demands and is on record claiming none of his opponents can match his academic qualifications.

Sources say he has a degree in business administration from University of Nairobi and is now undertaking a Masters degree in strategic management at the same Campus.
