A woman who was suffering from diabetes has committed suicide in Embu North. The body of Irene Ndwiga was found on Wednesday evening dangling on a rope tied to the roof of her house.
Embu Police boss Gasper Makau said her family members disclosed that the woman had been diabetic for several years. He said the woman from Ngandori may have committed suicide to end her suffering from the disease.
