Egypt: Hundreds March From Maadi to Tahrir Square

Hundreds of demonstrators opposing President Mohamed Mursi and the Muslim Brotherhood on Friday marched from Maadi neighbourhood in Cairo headed to Tahrir Square.

The protesters earlier rallied at al-Horreya Square and al-Fatah Mosque in Maadi.

The demonstrators chanted "Down with the rule of the brotherhood's Guide", an eyewitness told Aswat Masriya.

A number of political activists, Constitution Party members, Popular Current members, and Ultras youths participated in the demonstration, al-Watan newspaper reported.
