Egypt: Hundreds in Minya Call for Downfall of Regime

Hundreds of protesters in Minya on Friday demonstrated demanding the downfall of the regime on the second anniversary of the January 25 revolution.

In Minya, protesters marched through the city's streets until they reached al-Shohadaa Square.

The protesters raised Egypt's flags and held banners demanding the downfall of the regime.

They also chanted slogans calling for a second revolution and demanding justice for all martyrs.

Head of Minya's security directory Major General Ahmed Soliman said the directory has readied enough troops to maintain security and protect all state facilities and institutions.
