Kenya: Kiambu Clergy Back Nyoro

More than 300 churchmen from the Kiambu County Senior Clergy Forum have endorsed James Nyoro for governor.

Led by their chairman, Reverend Macmillan Kiiru of the Sigona ACK church, the clergy said they will back Nyoro because he is a deacon with the Christ is the Answer Ministries in Nairobi.

They endorsed Beth Wangui as Nyoro's running mate and Ann Nyokabi for the women's representative seat.

The clergy met yesterday at the Limuru Red Cross Hall and Mianzi Hotel in Kiambu town.
