Angola: Association of Physicians Committed to Working On Quality

Luanda — The chairperson of the Angolan Association of Physicians, Carlos Alberto Pinto de Sousa said Friday in Luanda that the physician class of the institution has the responsibility to work towards quality of services provided to the population.

Carlos Alberto de Sousa pledged the association commitment at 8th International Congress of Physicians in Angola, running under the motto "Health in Angola, at present and future."

According to the source, the health work is hard, but it is necessary that everyone is aware and determined to share strategies and results to address the ongoing challenge of improving the health of the Angolan people.

The two-day event is discussing such topics as "Management of hospital emergency services", "Heart Surgery", "Training of medical specialists," "Kidney transplants", "The child's health," "mental health" and "woman's health".
