Angola: Health Development Programme Enables to Reduce Iniquities

Luanda — Angola's health Minister, José Van-Dúnem, on Friday here said he believes that the execution of the 2012-2015 health development will enable lessen the asymmetries and iniquities with regard to access and service quality, facilitating the approach to the health care, Angop has learnt.

The minister said so in the fringes of the international congress of Angola's physicians, adding that the document that will reinforce the guidelines against priority illnesses also defines the strategy of maternal-infantile health improvement.

"In this context of materialization of this programme we will have to increase the co-ordination and promote synergies in the sector. Thus, we will hold a consultative council, in March, despite some parallel meetings of co-ordination with all health provincial departments", he said.

He also said that the sector has been doing more consistency to the health national service, through the municipalization of health services.
