President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday held a closed door session with leadership of the National Assembly at the State House, Abuja.
Though the none of the officials briefed newsmen after the meeting, Weekly Trust gathered that the two sides deliberated on the 2013 budget passed by the National Assembly.
The leadership of the legislature was led to the meeting by Senate President David Mark with his deputy Ike Ekweremadu and Deputy Speaker Emeka Ihedioha in attendance.
Speaker Aminu Tambuwal did not attend the meeting which was also attended by Vice President Namadi Sambo.
Principal officers of the National Assembly who attended the meeting hurriedly left the State House without briefing newsmen.
When reporters pestered him for comment, Mark promised that "when next I come here, I promise to deal with you directly. This is a promise from me."
