Angola: Governor Wants School Inspection Overhaul

Lubango — The governor of the southern Huila province, João Marcelino Tyipinge called for the urgent need to implement school inspection services overhaul, providing them with staff professionally capable to contribute to the improving of education quality.

Marcelino Tyipingue said the inspection activity when well-designed, structured and implemented by well-trained staff contributes to better quality of education.

Therefore, the governor considered this activity necessary and important for a good performance of the structures of education.

He underlined the need of major restructuring of the inspection with a view to make it available at the service of the school and the nearest school."

João Marcelino Tyipingue was addressing the opening of the 9th provincial methodological meeting of Education.
