Egypt: FJP's Katatni Calls for Condemning Violence

Head of the Freedom and Justice Party Saad al-Katatni on Friday evening called on politicians and national powers to condemn violence and declare a clear commitment to uphold peaceful and democratic approaches.

The number of people injured on Friday due to clashes between security forces and protesters in several governorates reached 379, the Ministry of Health said in a statement broadcast on ON TV channel.

On Twitter, al-Katatni held "everyone who called for violence and chaos accountable" for the blood shed today.

The party head extended his condolences to families of the Suez martyrs.
