Zambia/Nigeria: Chipolopolo, Super Eagles Go Head-to-Head At Afcon

African champions Zambia face Nigeria tonight in what is expected to be an exciting match to determine the two team's progress at the competition.

This Africa Cup of Nations Group C fixture will be played at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, the Northwestern part of South Africa.

Both camps are speaking with confidence before tonight's match after their disappointing opening round results.

Zambia drew against lowly ranked Ethiopia while Nigeria conceded a late goal against Burkina Faso for both games to end 1-all on Monday.

Herve Renard says his team is ready to overcome Nigeria and all his players look set to compete for places.

Captain Christopher Katongo, goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, Rainford Kalaba, Emmanuel Mayuka, Collins Mbesuma are all set to be part of Chipolopolo's chase for three points.

Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo says while the Super Eagles respect Zambia, they will go for an all out victory against the African champions.

Yobo has declared that the match will be a do-or-die for his team that will rely on the strength of midfielder Jon Mikel Obi and the experience of Vincent Enyeama in goal while Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike will add the firepower upfront.
