Egypt: Morsi Extends Condolences With Families of Suez Victims

President Mohamed Morsi has expressed condolences with families of victims of the violence in Suez.

Nine died in clashes between police and protesters who took to the street of the Canal city yesterday to mark the second anniversary of the January 25 Revolution.

"The State will exert utmost efforts to secure peaceful rallies and chase criminals and bring them to justice," Morsi said on his twitter account.

Morsi urged Egyptians to peacefully express their opinion and denounce violence.

"I condole with all Egyptians and residents of the brave Suez City over civilian and police deaths," Morsi tweeted.
