Egypt: New Agricultural Projects Over 1.2 Million Feddans

Agriculture & Land Reclamation Minister Salah Abdul-Mo'men said on Friday 25/01/2013 that 1.2 million feddans are viable for agriculture in 24 projects but not used so far.

The minister pointed out that the ministry has carried out infrastructure for 49,000 feddans.

Minister Abdul-Mo'men noted that 37,000 feddans are good for investments in El-Wahat el-Baharia, 46,000 in Wadi Karkar and West of Kom Ombo, 21,000 in Wadi Araba and El-Ayyat and 27,000 in Sinai development projects.
