Zambia: Investrust Calls for China Co-Operation

Investrust Bank managing director Friday Ndhlovu has called for stronger partnership with the Chinese business community in order to grow the Zambian economy.

Ndhlovu was speaking when his bank hosted clients from the Chinese community in Zambia ahead of China's New Year that will be celebrated on 10th of February.

And Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuxiao said he expected more partnerships between the Chinese business community in Zambia and local businesses to create more business opportunities for the growth of the local economy.

At the moment, Zambia has about 324 Chinese companies operating locally and that they have since created over 2000 job opportunities for Zambians.
