Angola: Sports Minister Arrives in Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth — The Minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, arrived early this afternoon in Port Elizabeth, where tonight the national team will face Cape Verde in a decisive game of Group A of CAN2013.

The minister delegation, which joins the nearly five hundred supporters of the national team, includes the secretary General and Director of the Center of Documentation and Information of the Ministry, as well as the deputy director of the office of the Minister.

Angola is placed last in Group A with one point, while Cape Verde is second with two. South Africa, leading the series with four points, faces Morocco (third with two).

In this group there are no qualifiers. But except Angola, all national teams depend only on themselves to move forward.

With seven participations, if Angola qualify it will be the third time in the history of Angolan football after Ghana2008 and Angola2010.
