Speaking at the meeting, the Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mohammed Hamd, made note of the spirit of synergism as regards ensuring farming resources and boosting harvest.

He further indicated that the regional Administration has been stepping up endeavors to this end, and called on farmers to resort to working as an Association.

Moreover, the regional Administrator called on sub-zonal administrators to exert more efforts as regards encouraging exemplary farmers and allocation of agricultural products.

The participants of the meeting put forth views pertaining to various issues.
