Malian musical group Tinariwen on Thursday (January 24th) received the Matoub Lounès Foundation's annual "Resistance Prize", Tout sur l'Algerie reported on Thursday (January 24th).
The band was honoured at the Tizi Ouzou ceremony for its struggle to preserve Amazigh identity in the Azawad region.
