Egypt Seeks Ensuring Israeli Commitment to Shalit Deal

Egypt's Ambassador to Palestine Yasser Osman asserted Saturday 27/1/2013 that Cairo continues its efforts to ensure Israel's commitment to the Gilad Shalit swap deal.
In the same context, Osman said that "We are working to help the Palestinians who are on hunger strike inside Israeli prisons".
Earlier, families of the Palestinian strikers headed to the Egyptian embassy to convey a message urging speedy intervention to save the lives of Palestinians in Israeli prisons.
