Kenya: Supporting ICC Suspects Shows Disdain for Rule of Law

The fact is that Uhuru and Ruto are suspects awaiting trial at the International Criminal Court. I am at a loss as to why reasonable politicians would persuade their supporters to follow these suspects to the gates of the ICC. Surely, this does not make sense in a civilised society.

The guilt or innocence of Uhuru and Ruto is beside the point. The stigma of being suspected of having committed crimes against humanity will never go away.
