Nigeria: Sambo Gives NIPP Contractors Marching Order

Vice President Namadi Sambo has given marching order to contractors handling power Projects under the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) to expedite action so as to deliver on or before the December 2013 deadline given to them.

Sambo gave the challenge Saturday in Abuja during the periodical Project Management meeting of the NIPP.

According to him, although the level of work done by contractors handling the generation projects of the NIPP is appreciable, as many had been completed,he however, frowned at the slow pace of work on some transmission projects across the country.
