One of Nigeria's top female singers, Azeezat is surely starting the new season with a new look and fresh sound. The singer embraced a trado style many years ago, but many fans failed to connect with her new look. Now, it seems Azzy has finally jettisoned her old weird look, and she's presently wearing a new one.

And, many years after she lost the top spot, sinking into obscurity while the likes of Tiwa Savage, Sasha, Weird MC, Asa, Waje and other female singers soared, the talented singer-songwriter is now climbing back, hoping to find her way to the top again and maybe, reclaim her lost crown.

Showtime has gathered that a new Azeezat single ('My valentine'), is in the works; and it's a remix of one of the songs off her first album. Her biggest hits include, 'Hold on' and 'Lonely World'.

'I believe it's a great way to start the year; pledge your undying love to your loved ones and give them the confidence to fly higher', she said. Azeezat is married to popular showbiz guru Seyi Allen.
