Nigeria: Attack On Emir Offensive - Rep Rano

Rep Sani Mohammed Aliyu Rano (ANPP) representing Rano/Bunkure/kibiya federal constituency of Kano State has described the attack on the Emir of Kano as attack on Islamic faith saying such must be condemned by all because it can happen to any religious leader at any time if not nipped in the bud.

Rano spoke with our reporter on phone yesterday saying the attack is offended believers.

He called on government to urgently create job opportunities for the vulnerable youths who are becoming threat to the society.

He said government should take the issue of insecurity very serious as 2015 elections pose a great danger to the people.

"For over two years now, there is no day without killings, attacks, murders or kidnappings in the country," the lawmaker lamented.
