Gambia: Seaview Secure Second Draw
By Arfang Camara
Newly promoted Seaview returned to the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium for the second week running on Saturday and played a nail biting 1-1 draw with Hawks.
Seaview who last year played in the second tier of Gambian football opened the scoring on the half hour mark with a fantastic finish from midfielder Jerome Gomes. But Hawks pulled level in the 45th minute when Captain Dawda Ceesay scored from the penalty spot after defender Abdou Ceesay was penalised for handball in the area. The second half saw both sides cancel each other out as the game eventually ended 1-1.
