Namibia: Passion Killing Syndrome Claims Another Life

Windhoek — A 30-year-old woman died in the Grootfontein area after she was allegedly stabbed under the armpit in yet another passion killing yesterday.

The suspect is a Namibian Defence Force soldier who allegedly stabbed her with a kitchen knife in the head and under her left armpit.

It is alleged that a jealous heated argument erupted between the two lovers.

The soldier aged 29 allegedly stabbed his 30-year-old girlfriend, Roseline Laurika Aukhumes.

She died instantly at house number D-149 in Omulunga location.

The incident occurred around 04h50 and the suspect has since been arrested for murder.
