Prime Minister Raila Odinga has rejected president Kibaki's appointments to the Police Service, saying he was not consulted. The prime minister says he had raised serious objections against the three nominees and that consultations on the matter were still underway. President Kibaki had appointed Grace Kaindi as the deputy inspector general in charge of the regular police Samuel Arachi as the deputy inspector general in charge of the AP and Ndegwa Muhoro as CID Director.
