Angola: Vice President Discusses Common Interest Matters With Russia

Addis Ababa — The Vice President of Angola, Manuel Vicente, last Sunday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, discussed with Mikhail Margelov, special representative of the Russian Head of State for Africa, matters related to bilateral interest.

The meeting happened on the fringe of the 20th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, in which Manuel Vicente is representing President José Eduardo dos Santos.

According to Mikhail Margelov, similarly to other meetings held in Luanda, it was reaffirmed the interest to boost the co-operation in the domains of production of bio-fuel in Angola.

He emphasised that the two countries, in the field of the co-operation in the production of bio-fuel, are on the right path, although they need to go faster.

He informed that they also discussed the conflicts in Arica, with highlight on Sudan, South Sudan and Mali.

"We think that only the Africans themselves can and have the right to resolve their problems", emphasised the Russian official.
