Kenya: Hotel Where Briton Was Kidnapped Burns Down

A section of the hotel where Briton Judith Tebbutt was kidnapped and husband David killed at Kiunga area in Lamu has been burnt down.

Police say three cottages were burnt earlier today by a fire caused by a worker who was burning garbage. Lamu OCPD Sam Obare says the hotel was closed after the British government issued a travel advisory following the kidnapping.
