Mbeya — ENTREPRENEURS in Mbeya Region have been urged to be creative in their business ventures to offer more employment to Tanzanians.
The appeal was made by the Mbeya Regional Commissioner, Mr Abbas Kandoro, when opening a one-week entrepreneurship seminar.
"Creativity is crucial and should be worked upon," he said, adding that business people should always work on new ideas.
He said the participants should make use of trainings offered by the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) in collaboration with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), under the Business Linkages Programme to broaden their know-how and networks.
The RC also told the participants to learn how to better use financial institutions and repayment of loans in time. Mr Kandoro said that the government was committed to further develop entrepreneurs' skills in the country and that they should not shy away from the opportunities but effectively use them.
