Nigeria: Al-Makura Dissolves Cabinet

Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura yesterday dissolved the state executive council at an emergency council meeting.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Iliyasu Ali Yakubu.

Accordingly, the governor thanked the commissioners, special advisers and the Secretary to the State Government for their immeasurable contributions to the development of the state during their period of service and directed that they should handover to their respective permanent secretaries.

The governor wished all the affected cabinet members the very best in their future endeavours.
