Luanda — The members of the carnival groups União Kazucuta do Sambizanga and Cassules Kazucuta do Sambizanga are preparing themselves to conquer the Luanda Carnival in adults and children categories, whose parades will happen on February 10 and 12.

The two groups are hoping to improve the 5th position in children category and 6th position in adults category achieved in the 2012 edition of the Carnival.

According to the director of the two groups, David Costa, despite needing more support for a dignifying representation, every step, clothing and musical instrument is being rehearsed with the song "Homenagem".

The director said that the plot of the song has to do with the need to honour two former horn players, respectively, Marcolino and Mito, for their contribution as members of União Kazucuta.

The source informed that for this edition the group will take 400 members to Marginal Boulevard.
