Angola: Constantino Camõli Library Needs Repairing

Huambo — Central Huambo Province's biggest library, called Constantino Camõli, needs urgently to be rehabilitated aimed at providing a better service to citizens.

This was said by the deputy general-director of the Angolan National Library, Manuel Francisco Pinheiro, in the end of a four-day visit to Huambo Province.

The official manifested his concern at the degradation of the infrastructure and the scarcity of books.

Manuel Francisco Pinheiro stressed that he is particularly concerned about the cracks being seen in the infrastructure, which needs urgent intervention, since it runs the risk of crumbling.

"The service is good, but we have to repair the building so that the customers can feel more comfortable in it. There is also lack of social sciences books and reference publications", he lamented.
