Huambo — The secretary of State for Culture, Cornélio Calei, is expected this Monday in the central Huambo Province, for a work visit that will culminate with the a lecture with the theme "National Identity".
On his arrival, the minister, who will be accompanied by a technical team from his department, will go to Feti locality, located in Ngove sector, Caála Municipality, about 120 kilometres off Huambo City, where he will check the conservation state of the archaeological station.
The Feti archaelogical station is an infrastructure that still waits recognition from the authorities as a cultural asset to be included in the country's list of historical sites that must be presented to UNESCO as heritage of the humanity. The centre has information on the Umbundo and Ngangela peoples of Angola and their dispersion, besides other historical data.
The secretary of State is also to learn about the works of building the provincial library and the cultural centre.
