Angola: Family Minister Appoints New Officials

Luanda — Angolan minister of Family and Women Promotion, Filomena Delgado, recently appointed Tito Lourenço as secretary general of the sector.

According to a note from the minister's Office delivered to ANGOP, Filomena Delgado also nominated Isabel da Costa dos Santos and Anibal César Pires Delgado, respectively, director and deputy director of her Office.

On the other hand, she appointed Adriano Ramos Cortês to the post of national director of International Exchange Office and Marilena Olavo Gamboa national director for the gender promotion.

Isabel Antunes Fernandes, Marcos Quintino Lopes and Zacarias Hendrick Bumba hold the posts of director of Legal Office, Planning and Statistics Studies Office and head of Press Centre (CDI), respectively.

While, Anot Carlos dos Santos and Almerindo Barradas went to Social Consultant and Economic Advisor of the minister.

Still, the same decree also refers to Alcina Lopes da Cunha who was appointed Advisor for gender issues of the Secretary of State for Family and Women Promotion.
